160 Serie A players are set to be involved with their respective national teams in the coming weeks in an international break that will last for three weeks across the end of September and early October.

No sides in Serie A have more senior internationals than Atalanta and Inter, who both have 12 players jetting off to represent their national sides this week. The Nerazzurri have provided three Italy internationals in Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella and Pio Esposito, not including Federico Dimarco, who was called up but withdrew on the first day of the camp on Monday.

Atalanta, meanwhile, have four Italy internationals in their Serie A squad with Marco Carnesecchi, Giorgio Scalvini, Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca. Their list also includes the likes of Charles De Ketelaere, Franck Kessie and Mario Pasalic.

Como and Juventus both have 11 internationals each, but with three Italians between them in the form of Moise Kean, Samuele Ricci (who was called up as a late replacement for Bryan Cristante ), and Juve keeper Guglielmo Vicario.

Milan are next on the list with 10 senior internationals, Napoli and Bologna both have nine, whilst Roma and Lazio have eight.
