In a recent report , Fussball News revealed that Arsenal are set to rival Tottenham Hotspur for Red Bull Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa. It has been mentioned that the Gunners and Spurs are leading the race ahead of Aston Villa and Newcastle United for the Norway international.

Nusa has made a decent start to this Bundesliga campaign as he has put in a handful of impressive displays on the left side of Leipzig’s attack. The Norwegian talent has made six appearances for the German club last season, scoring three goals and earning a couple of assists in various competitions.

The 21-year-old is currently one of the most gifted wide players in the Bundesliga. Hence, it is no wonder that the Gunners are in the running to sign him in 2027.

His current deal at the Red Bull Arena will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for Arsenal to sign him on the cheap next year.

Nusa can shoot the ball with venom from long range and has the eye to play some decisive passes in and around the opponent’s penalty area. He is a good dribbler with the ball as well and can contribute by scoring and creating a few crucial goals for his team from the flanks.

The Norway international is primarily a left-winger but can also serve as a right-sided wide player if told to do so by his manager. However, there are some concerns over whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League if the Gunners manage to win the race for his services.

Nusa would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s attack. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming years.
