Real Madrid have secured their place on La Liga’s Delegate Committee, ensuring the club will continue to participate in discussions over some of Spanish football’s most important decisions despite their ongoing dispute with league president Javier Tebas .

La Liga has officially confirmed the composition of the committee, with Real Madrid among six clubs appointed to represent the top division.

According to Mundo Deportivo , Real Sociedad have continued to support Madrid’s position, while Athletic Club have also backed the Spanish giants despite no longer having a place on the committee themselves.

Real Madrid’s continued presence matters because the Delegate Committee discusses significant issues before they are taken to the clubs’ General Assembly, giving its members a role in influencing the league’s decision-making process.

It must be remembered that Real Madrid returned to the committee in 2024 with support from Valladolid and Real Sociedad.

Now, their latest appointment ensures that the club will retain its place despite tensions with Tebas.
