Eight players have been nominated for the September Premier League Player of the Month award.

Hull winger Mohamed Belloumi, Leeds United full-back Jayden Bogle, Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross, Liverpool forward Alexander Isak, Liverpool defender Jérémy Jacquet, Brighton striker Charalampos Kostoulas, Brentford forward Kevin Schade and Manchester City winger Antoine Semenyo make up the shortlist.

Isak has continued his strong start to life at Liverpool, scoring four Premier League goals so far this season, while Gross has also found the net three times for Brighton.

Kostoulas was on target in Brighton's 3-0 win over Arsenal, while Gross scored and provided an assist in the same match. Jacquet has also impressed since joining Liverpool, helping his side keep a clean sheet in their 1-0 victory at Bournemouth and being voted the club's Player of the Match.

Semenyo has also been among the standout performers for Manchester City, while Belloumi and Bogle have impressed for Hull and Leeds respectively.
