On Abdul Fatawu's sending off: "I've seen them given, I've seen them not given. It looks like he is anticipating contact - and there is contact. I can understand it being a yellow card. Where it is on the pitch, I don't think the referee needs to get involved. I've spoken to him, he has been excellent for us. I suppose the lack of experience... it's making sure when you're on a yellow card that you don't take any risks. I thought we were excellent with 10-men and the home fans were restless.

"The only disappointment is the result. Liverpool and Manchester United are Champions League clubs where you just have a go, but against Sunderland , Crystal Palace and Everton we have shown we can be very competitive.
