It took just a few weeks for Emanuele Lulli to convince Gian Piero Gasperini.

Born in 2007, he started four of the five league games, displaying a unique personality for a player making his Serie A debut.

His best quality has always been his running, his constant bursts of speed: a thorn in the side of opposing defenses. In short, a sensational start, perhaps even unexpected for Lulli, who was on the verge of moving to Avellino this summer, before the Giallorossi coach vetoed him.

Lulli, in the first six games of the season, has only been on the bench against Fenerbahce and in the final match before the break against Inter. This is perfectly normal for a player making his first-team debut. Now, however, his contract, which expires in June 2027, needs to be sorted out.

He signed his first professional contract two years ago, and now he’s a key player for Gasperini’s Roma, and the club is banking on his qualities.

As Il Messaggero reports, there are no upcoming appointments yet. There’s plenty of time, especially since both parties share the same desire: to continue their development together.
