According to data from Opta, FC Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has added another record to his already remarkable list of achievements, reaching 50 La Liga assists at a younger age than any player since at least the 2013/14 season.

The Barcelona winger reached the milestone during his side’s 3-1 victory over Sevilla, providing two assists for Raphinha, who scored a hat-trick as Hansi Flick’s team maintained their perfect start and stayed top of the table.

Yamal now has 51 assists in 159 competitive appearances for Barcelona’s first team.

He reached the 50-assist mark at just 19 years and 68 days, surpassing the previous record held by Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr.

Barcelona initially found themselves behind at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan this past Saturday.

Sevilla took the lead in the 19th minute when Youssouf Fofana headed home, although Raphinha levelled just three minutes later.

Lamine had already threatened before that. In the eighth minute, he cut inside and curled a shot towards goal, forcing Odysseas Vlachodimos to tip the ball away before it struck the post.
