Serie A side Juventus have been facing an injury crisis in the last two weeks and it also impacted their back-up keeper Kamil Grabara, who sustained an ACL injury some days ago. This left Juve scrambling for a back-up keeper and a decision seems to have been made.

Tuttomercatoweb report that the Bianconeri have made the choice of signing Neto, who is a free agent. He last played for Botafogo and apart from having had a spell with Juve in the past, he has also played for Bournemouth, Barcelona and Fiorentina.

The deal is now picking up pace and a short-term contract is being readied for the Brazilian, who also joined Arsenal some years ago but never made a league appearance.

This deal could be important for Juve, even if Guglielmo Vicario has done well. But the Tottenham loanee also has an unreliable injury record, which makes the signing a back-up very important at this stage of the campaign.

Neto is expected to sign a deal that runs out in 2027.
